Comprehensive training, online resources, and ongoing support

Free counselling sessions and discounted physio

Thursday: 6am – 10am

Saturday: 8am – 12pm

Additional shifts will arise to cover other team members

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable female support worker to join our team and support our amazing female client located in Coopers Plains.

About the role

We are searching for a female support worker who can read the room, has excellent attention to detail, is honest, able to take initiative and work autonomously.

Our client is a warm, vibrant person who values independence and choice in her supports. She enjoys arts and crafts, spending time with family, animals, and expressing her creativity.

What you’ll do:

Personal care, including bowel therapy (experience preferred but training will be provided)

Manual handling in all aspects

Domestic assistance and daily support tasks

Applicants must be comfortable and willing to support personal cares and bowel therapy, with experience preferred, however training will be provided for the right person.

To be successful you must:

Have experience in providing bowel therapy or a willingness to learn

Experienced in manual handling

Resonate with the role description above

Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives





Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia

Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card

Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card

Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:

To deliver high quality support to our clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered

Communicate effectively and collaborate for our clients needs with our clients, team & Support Specialist

Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our clients needs

Provide support to our clients as required

To support our clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner

Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our clients

Be reliable, adaptable and responsive to fill shifts when required
