New Directions Australia is a market-leading wholesaler and manufacturer of premium essential oils, natural and organic skincare, cosmetics, wellness products, and luxury packaging solutions. Based in our modern headquarters and showroom in Marrickville, we partner with some of Australia's most recognised and emerging brands to bring innovative products to market.

We're currently looking for a motivated and relationship-focused Account Manager to join our OEM team on a 13-month maternity leave contract.

About the Role

As a key member of our OEM team, you'll play an integral role in managing client relationships while driving business growth. Working closely with both new and existing customers, you'll guide projects from initial enquiry through to delivery, ensuring an exceptional customer experience every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to new customer enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face meetings in a professional and timely manner.
- Build strong relationships with recent and existing OEM clients.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored product and manufacturing solutions.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- Generate new business opportunities and proactively develop your client portfolio.
- Prepare OEM quotations and manage project-related payments.
- Maintain accurate customer records and CRM information.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered smoothly.




- Assist the Group Manager with marketing collateral and promotional initiatives.
- Stay informed on skincare, cosmetic and beauty industry trends and contribute ideas for future product development.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and is driven by delivering outstanding customer service.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Previous experience in sales, account management or business development (experience within cosmetics, skincare, beauty or FMCG is highly regarded).
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Solid negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
