Key Responsibilities

Banquet & Event Service

- Set up and break down banquet halls and event spaces according to floor plans and event specifications

- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and event décor to a high standard

- Provide skilled and attentive service to guests during events

- Serve food and beverages in line with service standards

- Liaise with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth event execution

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of event spaces before, during, and after events

- Assist with basic audio-visual setup and minor troubleshooting where required

Bar & Cocktail Service

- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, coffee, and beverages with consistency and flair

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail techniques





- Engage with guests, provide recommendations, and deliver exceptional customer service

- Maintain bar cleanliness, organisation, and stock levels

- Monitor and replenish bar supplies and assist with inventory management

General

- Adhere to all health, safety, and RSA regulations

- Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to deliver seamless service

- Remain adaptable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

About You

- Previous experience in banquet service, events, bar work, or cocktail bartending is highly regarded but not essential

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude

- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Qualifications & Experience

- Bartending or cocktail experience preferred (minimum 1 year ideal)

- Coffee skills highly regarded

- RSA required (or willingness to obtain)
