Your mission is to build the financial controls, protect and grow profits and assets, and improve dividends to shareholders while ensuring all financial requirements of the operations are met.
Our client is a construction group with 16 entities. Revenue is $40m, heading for $55-70m in the next 12 months.
Apart from the data from external accountants, there is no financial reporting set up. It’s not possible to know if they’re hemorrhaging one cent or a million dollars.
You’ll need to design, implement and enforce the systems, controls and processes that ensure every project is accurately estimated, properly tendered, correctly budgeted, tightly controlled and continuously tracked from commencement to completion.
You’ll control the overheads,
maximise cash flow and double shareholder returns.
You will establish real-time financial reporting across all projects and entities, ensuring management always knows where profit is being made, and minimise losses caused by poor estimating, inadequate controls, lack of visibility, ignorance, laziness, waste, fraud, theft, duplicate payments and financial leakage.
Your performance will be measured by improvements in gross profit margin, and the financial visibility you create throughout the group.
