ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a hand-on Fleet Supervisor to join our successful team in Seven Hills, NSW. You'll own the day-to-day performance of our drivers and vehicles - the key service and cost drivers within our control - covering driver staffing, fleet tracking, timesheets and wages, customer billing support and site safety.

This is a full-time, permanent role with genuine scope to grow as the business grows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drivers and staffing

- Work with management and sales forecasts to position the team for growth
- Manage driver work hours, morale and motivation, minimising fatigue
- Coach and develop drivers through toolbox meetings, one-on-one reviews and daily communication

Fleet tracking and safety

- Learn and use our Teletrac Navman tracking and Routific routing tools to run the fleet efficiently
- Keep the system up to date in line with our Chain of Responsibility obligations, with driver safety front of mind
- Manage OH&S; for everyone on site and every driver on the road

Wages and billing

- Ensure driver timesheets are accurate and submitted on time, and approve driver expenses against company standards
- Use timesheet data as a KPI for driver performance,



efficiency and cost control
- Enter driver times into our Freight Management System each day for contracted runs to support customer billing

Customers and operations

- Monitor the Freight Management System daily to plan the most cost-effective collections before customer close times
- Build strong daily rapport with customers, linehaul partners and their operations teams
- Work with Sales on customer "specials" and delivery book-ins so timeslots to DCs are never missed - driving us toward 100% DIFOT
- Arrange load and unload assistance for drivers as required
- Justify equipment needs (vehicles, depot equipment) and keep all equipment in safe working order

ABOUT YOU

- Experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations, ideally in an express or time-critical setting
- Proven people-leadership skills - you can motivate a driver team and hold them accountable
- Confident with fleet and operations systems (experience with Teletrac Navman, Routific or similar an advantage)
- A sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility and workplace health and safety
- Strong organisation and numeracy for timesheets, expenses and daily billing
- A calm, proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-moving operation
