We require the services of a CasualKitchen Hand for our Aged Care Facility located in Newmarket starting immediately.
We seek an enthusiastic applicant to work with our Chef Supervisor and team to help with the preparation and delivery of quality meals for our residents. The shift times vary over seven days per week.
Qualifications:
- Valid NDIS Worker Clearance or the ability to obtain one mandatory.
- Previous experience with high volume kitchen duties preferred.
- Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment or the willingness to learn.
- Experience with or demonstrated interest in aged persons.
- Ability to implement workplace health and safety requirements when performing duties is essential.
- Sound understanding of infection control processes as they relate to aged persons and the secure management of food.
