Moreton Hire
Queensland
Ever watched a massive exhibition floor go from empty concrete to a fully built show in 48 hours? That's the world you'd be stepping into as our next Exhibition Coordinator.
Moreton Hire is growing fast, and we need a sharp, hands-on coordinator to help run the show (literally!) on some of Australia's biggest events. No two days look the same, and you'll see the direct impact of your work every time the doors open.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love solving problems on the fly, and get a genuine buzz from seeing large-scale events come to life, this could be the role for you. As the operational heartbeat behind our exhibitions, you'll play a key part in making sure every project runs seamlessly — from the first planning meeting right through to pack-down.
At Moreton Hire, no two days look the same. You'll work alongside a supportive, high-energy team on some of Australia's most recognised events, and you'll see the direct impact of your work every single time the doors open to a show.
What You'll Be Doing
- Project coordination: Support the end-to-end delivery of exhibitions, from initial planning through to onsite execution.
- Client liaison: Be the friendly point of contact for exhibitors, organisers, and internal teams, making sure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
- Floor plan management: Assist with stand allocations, updates, and exhibitor documentation.
- Onsite support: Get hands-on during bump-in and bump-out, keeping timelines on track and safety standards front of mind.
- Supplier coordination: Partner with logistics, operations, and external suppliers to ensure the smooth delivery of equipment and services.
- Administration: Prepare schedules, exhibitor manuals, run sheets, and job documentation.
- Issue resolution:
Think on your feet and resolve challenges quickly and professionally during event delivery.
- Quality control: Ensure all stands, signage, furniture, and structures meet Moreton Hire's high presentation and safety standards.
What You'll Bring
- Event or exhibition experience: Ideally 1–2 years in events, exhibitions, operations, or a related field (though we're happy to hear from passionate up-and-comers!).
- Strong communication skills: Confident and personable when working with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail: Able to juggle multiple tasks without losing accuracy.
- Time-management ability: Comfortable working to tight deadlines and adapting when priorities shift.
- Technical aptitude: Able to read floor plans and understand the basics of event infrastructure.
- Office software proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office; CAD or event-planning software is a great bonus.
- Team-oriented mindset: A collaborative attitude and a knack for bringing positive energy to the onsite crew.
Qualifications
- A degree in Business, Event Management, or a related field is preferred, but not essential — we value the right attitude and hands-on experience just as highly.

- Competitive salary based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
