The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining optimal stock levels, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the overall profitability of the store.

Task & responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the service station and retail outlet
- Formulate and implement purchasing, marketing, and pricing policies to optimize sales for fuel and retail goods
- Monitor inventory levels, manage ordering processes, and implement strict stock control to minimize shrinkage, including fresh food stock for the on-site kitchen
- Analyse sales data, manage budgets, and monitor KPIs to improve business efficiency and profitability
- Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations, including tobacco laws, food safety, and the handling of dangerous goods (fuel/LPG)
- Conduct staff recruitment, training, performance reviews, and manage rosters to ensure 24/7 operational readiness




- Maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising to promote convenience products
- Supervise, train, and schedule employees to maintain a productive and efficient workforce
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with senior management on business planning, budgeting, and performance reporting

Qualification & experience

- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree, or higher qualification required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a retail management role
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Sound understanding of retail sales, inventory control, and customer service best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure
