- Be involved in COMPLEX jobs including advisory turnaround and trade-on‘s, whilst being trained in productive and effective CVL’s, SBR’s and Va’s.

The role will have you handling a broad range of advisory services and also debtor driven assignments in the SME space. This will include turnarounds, refinancing and formal appointments for small to medium-sized matters.
Typical responsibilities / projects will include:
File Management:
- Oversee the setup and administration of new files.
- Review and instruct staff on incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Draft and review complex reports and recommendations.
- Guide the sale of assets and monitor compliance with trade-on strategies.
- Conduct detailed investigations and prepare for creditor meetings.
- Assist in litigation matters, including preparing for court appearances and mediations.
- Monitor and discuss file and team fees, budgets, and work in progress.
- Prepare monthly management reports and annual budget reviews.
- Record all chargeable tasks on timesheets and ensure team compliance.
People & Performance:
- Train, coach, and provide feedback to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage team workloads.
- Facilitate personal development plans and identify opportunities for team growth.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
Technical Knowledge:
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Ensure correct insolvency practices are followed on all client files.
- Educate and develop team members' technical skills.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure all files are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including creditors, regulators, and referral partners.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with client files.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with referral partners and creditors.
- Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely manner.
- Represent yourself professionally in all interactions.
Business Development:
- Participate in firm marketing events and industry networking opportunities.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with referral partners.
- Contribute to firm marketing initiatives such as newsletters, social media, and workshops.
To be successful in this role you will possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to work in a team environment, and under sometimes challenging conditions. You will also be able to work from our offices in St Leonard’s.

The candidates should have the following to bring to the role to ensure they are successful:
- Minimum of 5 years of insolvency experience;
- Degree-qualified in the relevant area;
- CA or CPA qualification;
- Capacity to take responsibility for assisting to run insolvency administrations;
- Be able to lead an less experienced team members
- Able to interact with two liquidators directly;
- Able to present solutions in a clear and articulate manner, tailoring style to suit the needs of the client;
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
- Self motivated, confident and proactive;
