Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR Driver to join our Mackay team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Working Monday to Friday with a 9:00 AM start, you'll operate a combination of flat deck, tautliner and tailgate trucks, completing local deliveries and pickups across Mackay and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do

Safely operate HR flat deck, tautliner and tailgate trucks.

Complete local deliveries and pickups in accordance with daily schedules.

Load, unload and secure freight using approved load restraint equipment, including straps where required.

Operate tailgate equipment safely when delivering freight.

Conduct daily vehicle pre-start inspections and report defects promptly.

Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), road transport legislation and company procedures.

Maintain a professional attitude while providing exceptional customer service.

Follow all workplace health and safety policies, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting.

What You’ll Bring

Current and valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver Licence.

Previous experience operating flat deck, tautliner and/or tailgate trucks.

Sound understanding of load restraint practices and safe freight handling.





A strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently while maintaining high customer service standards.

Positive communication skills and a positive team attitude.
