Sesame Lane is a family-owned group of Early Learning Services that has proudly supported the Moreton Bay community for over 30 years. As our Clontarf service continues to grow, we're looking for a Float Educator to join our team — someone who thrives on variety and brings energy, care and consistency to every room they step into.

The Roles

As our Float Educator, you'll work flexibly across rooms and age groups at our Clontarf service, stepping in wherever you're needed most. You'll build relationships with every child and educator across the service, gain broad experience across all age groups, and play a key part in keeping our days running smoothly. We believe in finding the right person first — from there, we'll work with you to find the room, ratio and routine that suits you best.

Child Safety — Our Priority

At Sesame Lane, the safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do. All educators must hold a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), Foundations of Child Safety Training, undergo thorough reference and background checks, and complete child protection training as part of their induction. Every member of our team shares responsibility for creating an environment where children feel safe, valued and heard.

Your skills and qualifications should include:

- A Growth Mindset,
- A love of learning,
- Ability in developing and maintaining positive relationships with children families and colleagues,
- Suitable qualifications for the role or working towards a qualification,
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards and the QKLG,
- Current Working With Children's Check - Blue Card,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A sense of fun and willingness to think outside the box.
- An ability to support online learning journey tools (eg StoryPark).
- Passion for implementing sustainable practices.
