With offices in Cairns, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Atherton and the Sunshine Coast, our team provides Project and Program Management, Civil and Structural Engineering, Contract Administration and Building Design services across a diverse range of infrastructure and building projects.

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for two motivated people to join our Cairns office.

Whether you’re starting your career or already have experience supporting projects, we’d love to hear from you.

Depending on your experience, you may join us as either a Junior Project Officer or Project Officer.

About the Role

As a Project Officer, you’ll play an important role supporting our Project Managers, Engineers and Finance team to successfully deliver projects across Queensland.

No two days are the same, and you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of projects while working alongside experienced professionals who genuinely enjoy mentoring and developing their team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing administrative support to Project Managers and Engineers
- Preparing project documentation, reports, correspondence and meeting minutes
- Assisting with project coordination, scheduling and document management
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Maintaining project records, financial information and project databases
- Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers
- Supporting tender submissions, project reporting and general office administration
- Helping ensure projects remain organised,



accurate and delivered efficiently

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

You may be an experienced Project Officer looking for your next chance, or you might be an Administration Assistant ready to take the next step in your career.

Essential

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence

Highly Regarded

- Experience in project administration
- Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience
- Experience working within engineering, construction or professional services
- Experience using project management or accounting software
