About the role
Full time 12 months fixed-term contract, based at either Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney office, with a hybrid work environment. In this strategic leadership role, you will report directly to the General Manager Fundraising, and be responsible for:
- Lead the planning and delivery of fundraising campaigns including flagship acquisition and revenue generating campaigns across community and individual giving
- Developing and executing multi-channel acquisition strategies across digital, events, direct mail, and partnerships
- Using data-driven insights to optimise fundraising performance and maximise return on investment
- Collaborating with internal teams to create seamless donor journeys from acquisition to long-term engagement
- Overseeing and mentoring a high-performing team, managing campaign planning, creative output, and timely delivery
- Cultivating relationships with external stakeholders including community partners, sponsors, and creative agencies
- Monitoring market trends and fundraising innovations to identify growth opportunities.
- Leading budget management, ensuring income targets are met or exceeded
- Contributing to strategic fundraising planning, aligning acquisition efforts with Dementia Australia?s long-term vision

You will also receive 17.5% annual leave loading and the option to purchase additional leave.

About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, Business)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising acquisition, with demonstrated success in multi-channel campaigns
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision making and demonstrate return on investment
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and business acumen, with ability to develop and implement sophisticated fundraising strategies that deliver measurable results
- Proven track record in developing and executing digital fundraising strategies
- Experience in community fundraising and event management
- Strong understanding of direct mail and other traditional acquisition channels
- Demonstrated ability to analyse campaign performance data and optimise accordingly
- Experience in managing budgets and demonstrating return on investment
