Hive & Wellness Australia – home to Capilano, Barnes Naturals and some of Australia’s most loved honey brands – is looking for an experienced, hands‑on Production Chief Line Operator to join our production team in a permanent full‑time role.

What You’ll Do

As our Production Chief Line Operator, you’ll be the technical expert and go‑to leader on the line. You’ll keep our packing lines running safely, smoothly, and on target by:

- Leading, coaching, and mentoring your line team – building their skills every day
- Making sure every shift runs safely, following all safety, food safety, and GMP standards
- Being the first call to fix machine or line problems, using structured problem‑solving
- Running Tier 1 meetings that drive real action and keep everyone engaged
- Overseeing fast, accurate changeovers and helping your team get faster and better
- Keeping accurate production records, incident reports, and data entry
- Working closely with Maintenance and the Manufacturing Manager to lift line performance
- Ensuring daily cleans, hygiene checks, and audit‑ready standards are met




- Sharing technical knowledge across shifts to build a smarter, stronger team

What You’ll Bring

- Current First Aid qualification
- Previous experience in a leadership or technical role within a production environment
- Packing experience in the FMCG industry
- 2+ years working with company‑specific packing machinery (or similar)
- Strong mechanical aptitude – Mechanical Fitter experience highly regarded
- A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- A positive, proactive attitude – you lead by example

Desirable : Current Forklift Licence
