Are you an experienced Maritime Security Guard, or Administrator with security qualifications looking for your next opportunity? – Corporate Protection is looking for an operations support officer to join our team.

The Operations Support Officer is responsible for providing operational, administrative, and logistics support to Corporate Protection’s remote and regional site operations across our business units. This role will primarily support our Maritime Security and Critical Infrastructure operations throughout Southeast Queensland and operates in a hybrid capacity, with approximately 12 hours per week spent in the field performing Maritime Security Guard duties and the remaining hours based in our Pinkenba office.

Typical duties can include but are not limited to organising travel and accommodation for our team members in the field, assisting with the maintenance of employee qualifications, reconciling employee timesheets, liaising with our various internal and external stakeholders and completing Maritime Security Officer duties.

Location: This role is based in person at our Pinkenba Office
Roster: 38 Hours per week (Monday to Friday), with 12 hours in the field and the remaining hours in office.

Key Responsibilities:

Organise cost effective travel and accommodation for CP operations team members via corporate booking agency.

Provide office and operations support services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within CP operations.

Provide accurate administration support in our timesheet software Emplive. This is completed through the creation and maintenance of employee rosters, and the reconciliation/lodging of accurate timesheets.

Ensure all site training registers and office qualifications registers are maintained and kept current

Ensure all transport and travel arrangements are made to meet contractual arrangements





Provide logistics and information to all new employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process

Update and maintain the uniform Registers, Restocking uniform stock and ordering of uniforms aligned with company policy

Logistical support for uniforms and equipment, vehicles and fleet support and maintenance processes.

liaise with procurement when requesting required adhoc PO’s and assist with any invoice enquiries.

Act as the communication link between new employees, Operations and Human Resources

Maintain a thorough working knowledge and practical understanding of site security related policies, procedures, and all applicable legislation

Perform Maritime Security Guard duties across our client locations in the greater Brisbane Region as required based on our client agreements

Perform vehicle pre-start checklists and assist with the maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.

Operate Security equipment, general office equipment, radio, cameras in a safe and reliable manner

Complete in the field training for our Asset Protection & Maritime Security Guard’s when required.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

Certificate II in Security Operations - Cert III Highly Desirable

Current Security Licence – Class Unarmed – Unarmed and Monitoring Preferred

Current MSIC (or willing to obtain)

HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Completion of the CPA Maritime Security Guard Course

Understanding of MTOFSA(R) 2003

Understanding of SOCI Act 2018

Completion of all relevant site inductions

Proof of Working Rights in Australia (Birth Certificate,



Passport or Visa)

Previous operations support experience
