The Warehouse Manager leads the day warehouse operations supporting Restoration Technicians and Project Managers. The role ensures adequate contents cleaning, secured contents storage, equipment readiness, stock availability, material availability, fleet control & compliance with workplace safety standards. Fast response times and strong organization are critical due to the emergency nature of restoration work.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

- Manage all warehouse activities, including storage, cleaning, dispatch and scheduled returns
- Maintain clean, organized and secured warehouse facilities
- Implement effective layout systems for tools, drying equipment, PPE, chemicals and consumables
- Coordinate after hours and emergency access to equipment and supplies

Inventory Management:

- Monitor materials, consumables and chemical levels and reorder as needed
- Carry out regular stock takes, equipment audits and vehicle audits
- Minimize loss, damage and waste

Equipment Maintenance:

- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, tested, tagged and ready for deployment
- Coordinate servicing and repairs of tools, equipment and vehicles
- Maintain maintenance service logs and service schedules

Logistics and Dispatch

- Prepare and dispatch equipment materials, consumables and chemicals for restoration jobs
- Coordinate vehicle loading, delivery schedules and technician pick ups
- Prioritize urgent emergency jobs and ever-changing demands




- Supervise warehouse staff, delivery drivers and contractors
- Demonstrate and train warehouse procedures, safety and equipment handlings
- Manage technicians and monitor performance standards in warehouse

Safety and Compliance:

- Enforce WHS/OHS procedures and safe manual handling practices
- Ensure proper storage of chemicals and hazardous materials
- Maintain MSDS registers and compliance records
- Support insurance, environmental and company quality standards

Administration and Reporting:

- Use inventories and job management systems software to track customers contents and to track company assets, equipment, tools, materials, consumables and chemicals
- Prepare reports on stock usage, cost, repairs and warehouse performance
- Assist Management and operational leads with budget and purchasing decisions

Skills and Experience Required:

- Previous warehouse management experience (restoration, construction, trade services or emergency services preferred)
- Robust inventory control and logistics experience
- Leadership and staff supervision skills
- Knowledge of restoration equipment highly desirable
- Forklift license strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills (excel inventory and job management systems)
- Ability to work under pressure, process and manage urgent requests
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience to achieve set KPI's
