A well-established, up-to-date accounting and financial services firm in Caringbah is seeking an Experienced Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join the team as the business enters an exciting new growth phase.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant who wants more than just compliance work.

You’ll be joining a progressive, cloud-based firm that combines business advisory, financial planning, SMSF and external audit, with exposure to a diverse and interesting client base across pharmacy, construction, property development, medical, SME and HNWI sectors.

The Opportunity

Depending on your level of experience, this role can be tailored to suit either an Intermediate Accountant looking to step up, or a Senior Accountant ready to take greater ownership and client responsibility.

You’ll work closely with a highly experienced partner group, including direct exposure to strong technical training and mentorship. For the right person, there is scope to grow into a client relationship and review role, with longer-term opportunities including salary growth and potential equity partnership pathways.

This role offers the right mix of autonomy, support and progression, with flexibility built in for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and business activity statements.

- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.

- Supporting business advisory work and client problem-solving.

- Reviewing work and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.





- Assisting with SMSF and audit-related matters, if experienced.

- Building strong client relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact.

- Working across cloud-based systems including Xero & XPM.

About You

- 3 to 8 years’ experience in public practice, depending on level.

- Strong technical accounting skills and the ability to work autonomously.

- CA or CPA qualified, or currently studying, highly regarded.

- Experience with business services, SMSF or audit is advantageous.

- Confident working with a variety of clients and industries.

- Someone who values quality work and long-term growth.

- Strong communication skills are preferred, but technical ability is the priority.
