Job Responsibilities:Perform technical inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on marine vessels and yachts
Conduct pre-delivery checks to ensure all systems are functioning according to manufacturer specifications
Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and navigation systems onboard vessels
Support the sales team by preparing vessels for customer demonstrations and handovers
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all technical work performed
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for parts, technical support, and warranty claims
Ensure compliance with Australian maritime safety standards and dealership quality protocols
Assist in troubleshooting customer-reported issues and provide technical support during and after delivery
Participate in training and development to stay updated on new marine technologies and service procedures
Job Requirements:Certificate or diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in marine vessel maintenance and repair
Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems, electrical components, and onboard electronics
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and service software
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valuable communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with sales and service teams
Valid driver’s license and marine license preferred
Willingness to travel locally for service calls, inspections, and customer support
