About the Role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Accountant to join our small but effective finance team and support the continued growth of our business.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this position presents an chance for accountability across a broad range of responsibilities within both the financial and management accounting areas. This role offers the opportunity to learn new skills across multiple disciplines.

Your primary focus will be performing month-end activities, reconciliations, payroll and financial compliance. This is a role best suited to someone who enjoys variety and likes to keep busy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Month-end reconciliations and reporting
- Year-end reconciliations and reporting
- Fixed asset reconciliations and reporting
- Payroll processing and reporting
- ATO compliance, including BAS preparation and lodgement
- Intercompany account reconciliation
- General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate journal entries




- Job cost review and reportingCashflow forecasting and reporting
- Work collaboratively across both the finance and operations teams in driving process improvement initiatives
- Provide support to AP, AR and Payroll

About You:

- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 3 years in a similar accounting role
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to change
- Commitment to meeting deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Working knowledge of Xero Accounting software preferred
- Practical knowledge of financial reporting and tax compliance
