Care1 is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable team members to provide high-quality disability and care support to a care recipient based in Cronulla.

We are an organisation that hires for attitude and provides fully funded training to the right people to develop the right skills for what we do. The specifics:

Mondays AM 7am - 3pm and PM 3pm - 11pm

Tuesdays AM

Thursdays PM

Fridays AM & PM

Saturday AM

Some active/sleepovers to come available in the next few weeks also 11pm - 7am

About the Role





You’ll be responsible for providing comfort to our clients by assisting with the requirements and activities of daily living as set out in their individual care plans. This may include:

Supporting clients with complex and/or challenging needs

Bowel Care Support

PEG Feeding & Medication Administration

Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance

Domestic assistance: light housework (cleaning, laundry and meal preparation)

Supporting clients who use personal equipment/aid, this may include walking or standing frames, wheelchairs, hoists

Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress

Social Activities: transporting clients to their appointments, shopping, any planned social activity.

Right to Work in Australia such as passport, visa, birth certificate

Current valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain before employment

NDISWC

Working with Children Check

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disabilities or similar is desirable (willingness and the ability to obtain is essential)

Experience working with clients who display challenging and complex behaviours

Experience providing complex personal care

Previous healthcare or community welfare experience is along with a genuine desire to support people to live a higher quality of life will be highly regarded.
