Mack Civil is a leading civil construction contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Australia. With an established presence in New South Wales and an expanding footprint in Queensland, we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and grow our Queensland operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven construction professional looking to play a key role in establishing and expanding our Queensland business while delivering major civil infrastructure projects.

About the Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects across Queensland, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and mentoring project delivery teams
- Managing multiple civil construction projects simultaneously
- Developing and maintaining robust client relationships
- Driving project performance, profitability and business growth
- Overseeing project planning, resourcing and programme delivery
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality systems
- Supporting tendering, procurement and business development activities
- Identifying opportunities to expand Mack Civil’s presence within the Queensland market

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience within the civil construction industry
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects for local councils,



state government agencies and the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR)
- Proven experience managing road upgrades, intersections, streetscapes, active transport, public domain and infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of Queensland Transport and Main Roads specifications, standards and delivery requirements
- Demonstrated leadership capability managing Project Managers, Engineers and site teams
- Strong commercial acumen and contract administration experience
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- A proactive attitude with a desire to help grow a business and establish a long-term presence in Queensland
