We're looking for an experienced Retail Assistant (Level 3) to become one of the faces of our business. This is an opportunity to work in a varied, hands-on role where you'll help customers, merchandise new products, contribute to our social media and marketing and play an significant part in the continued growth of Saddle Up Boonah.

What you'll be doing

As one of the faces of Saddle Up Boonah, you'll help create the welcoming, knowledgeable experience our customers have come to expect.

Your role will include:

- Delivering exceptional customer service and providing knowledgeable advice across feed, supplements, tack, rider apparel and horse care products.
- Helping customers find the right products and practical solutions for both horse and rider.
- Processing sales, online orders and customer enquiries.
- Receiving, merchandising and replenishing stock to maintain an inviting, well-presented store.
- Opening and closing the store, including cash handling and daily reconciliation.
- Assisting with stock control and the day-to-day operation of the business.
- Helping create engaging social media content and supporting the promotion of our store,



products and the events we're involved in.

A roster with balance

This position offers a consistent fortnightly roster, making it easy to plan around family, horses or other commitments.

Week One

- Friday
- Saturday
- Monday

Week Two

- Weekend and Monday free.
- The roster then repeats.

Additional shifts may become available during busy retail periods, annual leave and special events.

About you

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent practical horse knowledge (essential).
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Confidence working independently and using initiative.
- Strong personal presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Confidence using Facebook and Instagram, with an interest in creating engaging content.
- An eye for merchandising and store presentation.
- The ability to safely handle and lift stock, including feed bags up to 25kg.
