About us

Sustainability and outdoor learning are at the heart of our philosophy. About the Role

Avenues Early Learning Centre- Kimberley Park are actively recruiting for an awesome Diploma Qualified Assistant Educator to join our team.

Must be able to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

We’re looking for a dedicated individual who shares our commitment to nurturing young minds through hands‑on experiences and innovative outdoor education. We are seeking a highly motivated Educator with knowledge and experience within the Early Childhood Education sector.

We are looking for educators who have;

- Understanding children and their needs - must have knowledge of early childhood development
- Experience in working with children and demonstrating responsive practices that meet children's individual needs & routines.
- Emphasis on creating and maintaining learning environments for children which are physically safe yet promote a challenge to support well‑being and development.
- Self‑motivated to engage in professional learning opportunities to improve practice
- Experience in working collaboratively with a team to strive toward excellence
- Meet skilled ethics and conduct responsibilities
- Establish and maintain respectful collaborative partnerships with families

You would bring the following:

- Must have a minimum Diploma ECE
- Extraordinary relationship skills – exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Child Protection
