Australasian Homes is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance & Handyperson to join our team on a casual basis 2 days a week only. Based in Surfers Paradise, QLD 4217, this role offers the flexibility of casual work whilst providing essential maintenance and handyperson services across 2 of our properties. You will be responsible for addressing a wide variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to ensure our properties remain in excellent condition. This position is ideal for someone with strong practical skills who values flexibility and enjoys working independently.

Key responsibilities

Your duties over the 2 days will include:

- Assist with general maintenance of the two properties
- Mowing lawns, garden care and landscaping
- Cleaning and maintaining pools
- Cleaning of outdoor areas
- Pressure cleaning pathways and exterior walls/fences etc
- Adhoc interior handyperson work where required
- Ensure gardening equipment is operational and in safe working order, using appropriate fuels and lubricants
- Run about duties such as getting fuel for boats and/or other equipment
- Washing of marine vessels
- Other adhoc duties as required
- Other as reasonably requested by the company

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Proven experience in general maintenance and handyperson services, with a solid track record of completed projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently




- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- A commitment to health and safety standards and compliance with relevant regulations
- Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to accommodate a casual work arrangement 2 days only
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to interacting with company directors and residents
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between properties
- Experience with residential property maintenance is highly desirable
