Cool As Patios is seeking two dedicated and hardworking Junior Labourers to join our dynamic team as a contractor (with own ABN - Super paid) working up to 40hrs/week Monday to Friday. This role is based on the Sunshine Coast and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the trades and services industry. As a Junior Labourer, you will be at the heart of our operations, supporting the delivery of high-quality patio installations and outdoor living solutions. You will work alongside experienced team members, learning valuable skills whilst contributing to projects that transform outdoor spaces for our valued clients.

As a team we are travelling all over the Sunshine Coast and surrounds to complete jobs. This requires you to have your own vehicle and drivers licence and the willingness to travel to site.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation and setup of job sites, including setting up jobs and off-siding our experienced builders.
- Support the installation of patios and outdoor structures under the guidance of senior team members
- Operate and maintain hand tools and basic equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with the lifting of materials and equipment to build the job
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, including site clean up and waste management
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times
- Assist with measuring, cutting and fitting materials as required
- Support the team in meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality standards

What we're looking for

- A valid driver's licence is ESSENTIAL




- A robust work ethic and genuine enthusiasm for working in the trades
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour duties
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
