Michael Page have exclusively partnered with a local Australian business to recruit a Finance Manager into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Client Details

Our client has a presence across WA, South Australia and Queensland operations. Due to growth, the team is now looking to strengthen its finance leadership team with this new hire.

Description

Reporting into the Executive Director, the key scope of this role will include:

- Lead month end process, including journals, management accounts and providing variance analysis.
- People leadership of a local and offshore based transactional finance model (AP/AR).
- Building financial models used for contract renewals, pricing support and tenders.
- Look after regulatory reporting requirements.
- Oversee FBT, income tax and payroll tax compliance as well as GST.




- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and finance team.

Profile

The successful candidate will possess the following traits:

- CA/CPA Qualified.
- Exposure to the logistics, transport, mining, construction or aviation industry.
- Prior people leadership experience.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, such as Executive Director.
