About the Role

As a Yard Operator you will ensure our rental equipment is properly maintained, organised and ready for customer use. You will work primarily in our branch yard and workshop facilities, playing a key part in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and prepare rental equipment for customer pickup and return
- Clean and stage equipment to maintain professional presentation standards
- Safely load and unload equipment using proper handling procedures
- Organise yard areas to optimise workflow and equipment accessibility
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment readiness




- Support branch operations through efficient equipment management
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard environment

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, transport, warehousing, or related industries preferred
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (license preferred/required)
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Capability to stand and move around the yard for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
