Universal Marble & Granite is seeking an experienced CNC Automation Engineer / CAD Programmer to join our team at our Cleveland facility.
This is a hands‑on role responsible for programming, maintaining and optimising our CNC manufacturing equipment, including bridge saws, waterjets and CNC machining centres, while driving automation and continuous improvement across our production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce CAD drawings and CAD/CAM files from shop drawings for manufacture.
- Program CNC, bridge saws and waterjets.
- Create and optimise CAD/CAM programs.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and optimise CNC machinery.
- Develop automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and the installation of new equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with CNC, bridge saws and waterjets.
- Experience creating CAD/CAM files for CNC manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/shop drawings and convert them into machine‑ready programs.
- G‑Code and M‑Code programming.
- Experience with Robotics and automated manufacturing systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
