About the role

An exciting chance is available for a Speech Pathologist Contractor to join a growing allied health team supporting NDIS participants across the community. In this role, you will provide assessment, intervention,



and ongoing therapy services to children and adults with a range of communication, language, speech, swallowing, and social communication needs. Services are primarily delivered through home visits, allowing you to make a genuine impact in participants' everyday environments.

You will work collaboratively with participants, families, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals to develop and implement individualised therapy plans that support participants in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive speech pathology assessments
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans
- Support participants with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties
- Provide intervention for individuals with developmental delays, autism, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries, stroke-related communication challenges, and other disabilities
- Deliver services in participants' homes and community settings
- Prepare clinical documentation, reports, and NDIS-related recommendations
- Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain high-quality, evidence-based clinical practice
