About the Role
Due to continued growth,
we are seeking an experienced Fire Technician / Commercial Electrician to join our Brisbane team.
You’ll be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining fire detection systems across a range of commercial projects. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll have the opportunity to use your technical skills, solve problems, and take ownership of your work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems.
- Fault finding and programming fire indicator panels including Ampac, Pertronic, and Notifier.
- Diagnosing technical issues and providing effective solutions.
- Reading electrical drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
- Completing works in line with Australian Standards including AS 1670 and AS 1851.
- Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
About You
You’re a motivated technician who enjoys variety, solving problems, and delivering quality outcomes for customers.
You will ideally have:
- QLD Electrical Licence and QBCC Fire Occupational Licence.
- Experience working with commercial fire detection systems.
- Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with Ampac, Pertronic, or Notifier panels (advantageous).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Understanding of Australian fire protection standards.
- Current manual driver’s licence, White Card, and EWP licence.
