About Us
Asset Therapy is a well-established multidisciplinary paediatric practice with a strong reputation across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. We provide community-based therapy for children aged 1–17 in homes, schools and childcare settings.
We plan travel around your home base so your day is efficient - not spent in the car. You choose your days and hours, and we support you to do your best work.
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our growing team. You’ll manage your own caseload, travel between clients for 1:1 sessions, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to children in natural environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support speech sounds (articulation), language development, social communication, fluency (stuttering), voice, feeding/swallowing, literacy, and AAC needs
- Conduct clinical observations, caregiver interviews, and standardised assessments
- Develop and deliver evidence‑based, play‑based and functional speech pathology interventions
- Work collaboratively with caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members
- Coach and empower families with practical strategies to support progress between sessions
- Complete clinical notes, NDIS reports, and documentation in a timely manner
- Provide speech pathology services across homes, schools, and childcare centres
Ideal Candidate
You have robust paediatric assessment and intervention skills across speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language, social communication (pragmatics), stuttering, literacy, feeding/swallowing, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
You’re confident delivering family‑centred, interest‑based and goal‑driven therapy in home, school, and community settings. Experience supporting children with Autism, developmental delays, hearing loss, or complex needs is highly regarded.

Requirements
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status with Speech Pathology Australia, or eligibility to obtain CPSP
- NDIS Worker Screening
- ABN (or willingness to obtain)
- QLD Blue Card + NSW WWCC
- Driver licence + reliable vehicle
- Experience in paediatric speech pathology
- Own assessments and resources
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with professionalism
