Your new role
Reporting to the Area Manager,
you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the service while ensuring high-quality education and care is delivered in accordance with the National Quality Framework, relevant legislation and Y Queensland policies.
You'll inspire and support your team to deliver engaging programs that reflect children's interests while creating a positive culture where educators, children and families feel valued and supported.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of educators
- Managing the daily operation and performance of the service
- Building strong relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community
- Ensuring compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- Managing administration, rostering, occupancy and service budgets
- Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children can learn through play
About you
You'll be a confident and collaborative leader with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and supporting your team to succeed.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Diploma in Children's Services, Early Childhood Education and Care or another ACECQA-approved qualification (or be actively working towards one where applicable)
- Previous leadership experience within OSHC,
Early Childhood Education or a similar education setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place and Child Safe practices
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
- Current Paid Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
