Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is the principal contractor for Snowy Hydro's Snowy 2.0, Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. We bring the combined engineering expertise of three companies - Italy's Webuild (formerly Salini Impregilo), Australian-based Clough and US-based Lane Construction.

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a section of works to ensure project objectives are achieved across safety, quality, cost, programme and contractual performance.

Working closely with construction teams, supervisors, subcontractors and stakeholders, you will provide technical leadership, coordinate resources, drive project outcomes and identify innovative ways to improve construction methodologies and project delivery.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a section of works to ensure project objectives are achieved across safety, quality, cost, programme and contractual performance.

Working closely with construction teams, supervisors,



subcontractors and stakeholders, you will provide technical leadership, coordinate resources, drive project outcomes and identify creative ways to improve construction methodologies and project delivery.

About You

You are an organised and proactive engineering professional who brings strong technical capability, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to safety and quality.

You will ideally have:

Qualifications

- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Construction White Card.

Experience

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Engineer or similar construction engineering role.
- Experience working on large-scale civil, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Previous TBM and/or tunnelling experience highly regarded.
- Exposure to subcontractor management, procurement and project planning.

Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Engineering

- Manage and coordinate assigned construction works to achieve programme, budget and quality targets.
- Develop and maintain construction documentation, including CAPs, WPAs, CMS and associated project records.
- Coordinate site activities and provide technical support to construction teams.
- Review construction methodologies and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and project outcomes.
- Coordinate design information and ensure site teams have access to current project documentation.
- Develop and maintain short-term and look-ahead programmes, including resource and material planning.
- Monitor project progress,



track key milestones and proactively manage risks and delays.

Quality & Compliance

- Champion quality assurance processes across your work area.
- Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Assist with NCR management, corrective actions and close-out activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, procedures and contractual requirements.

Safety & Risk Management

- Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example.
- Participate in risk assessments and ensure effective controls are implemented.
- Ensure all required HSE documentation, permits and approvals are current and available on site.
- Support the project team's commitment to achieving zero harm outcomes.

Procurement & Subcontractor Management

- Assist in the administration of subcontract agreements and review subcontractor claims.
- Support procurement activities, including material purchasing and technical reviews of subcontract packages.
- Monitor procurement schedules and ensure critical items are delivered in line with project requirements.

Leadership & Team Development

- Foster a collaborative "One Team" culture across the project.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and support to Graduate and Site Engineers.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of engineering capability across the project team.
