The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced, self-driven CNC Machinist to join our highly skilled team on the Gold Coast. This is your chance to work with world-class equipment in a clean, modern setting designed for excellence.
You’ll be programming and operating:
- Mazak E-500H Integrex multifunction CNC machine,
- New bar-fed Okuma LB3000 CNC Lathe, and
- Existing Okuma CNC Millac Mills and LB4000 Lathe combinations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to exact specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
- Mentor apprentices and junior machinists
Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)
- Experience with Mazak and/or Okuma CNC machines (Okuma highly regarded)
- Proficiency in Mazatrol, Okuma IGF, or G-code programming
- Strong understanding of CNC Mill and Lathe tooling
- Experience in tight-tolerance machining and thread cutting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with hydraulic cylinder manufacturing (advantageous but not essential)
