Job description
An opportunity has become available for a Junior Contract Administrator to join their already successful team. This outstanding role will see you providing support to the Director and Construction Manager. Your duties will be varied and include:
- Sourcing appropriate and cost effective supplier quotes and subcontractors
- Assisting to ensure the accuracy of expenditure, forecasting and cost reporting
- Negotiating and assisting in the preparation of contracts for subcontractors
- Scope of works, Progress Claims and Variations
- Procurement of supplies and materials as required
Your Profile
To be successful you will need to have outstanding communication skills and be graduated from your Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree. You will also need to have at least 2 + years experience as a Cadet or Junior Contract Administrator preferably with a Commercial Refurb and Fit-out builder. To stand out, you will be an ambitious individual who is keen to grow within the Construction sector.
