Construction SME - Telecommunications Network Infrastructure | Public Safety Network

Join a critical NSW Government infrastructure program delivering the expansion and enhancement of the Public Safety Network - increasing outdoor and in-building coverage to ensure reliable critical communications for emergency services and government agencies across NSW.

As Construction SME, you'll provide specialist technical capability across the delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring construction activities, site performance, and operational readiness are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Working across engineering, commercial, construction, delivery partners, and suppliers, you'll drive program performance, manage construction risks, and oversee the successful progression of sites from award through to Operational Acceptance.

What you'll be doing

- Monitor program progress and site delivery against key milestones and forecasts
- Lead construction reviews, readiness assessments, and operational validation activities
- Support procurement, tender evaluations, supplier engagement, and schedule reviews
- Coordinate stakeholders across commercial, construction, and project delivery teams to deliver on critical program dependencies and meet schedule completion of sites
- Manage and coordinate FIM suppliers to ensure critical dependencies on equipment that supports project delivery requirements
- Manage technical delivery dependencies and construction-related risks
- Track and report on delivery performance, issues, and pipeline status across all project stages
- Ensure sites meet technical and operational requirements before progressing

About you

You have experience delivering critical communications infrastructure within the telecommunications sector, ideally supporting emergency services, public safety or other mission-critical government networks, and can effectively manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and complex delivery challenges. You bring robust construction, commercial, and operational expertise specific to critical network builds, with a focus on driving safe, efficient, and successful project outcomes.
