Methodist Hospital, part of SA Health and a leading healthcare provider in San Antonio, is seeking experienced Medical ICU Registered Nurses to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments, closely monitor vital signs and hemodynamic status, titrate IV medications and vasoactive drips, manage ventilators and other advanced life-support equipment, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition. Working collaboratively with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team, you will help develop and execute individualized plans of care, participate in clinical rounds, and advocate for patients and families throughout the continuum of care. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments safely, interpreting diagnostic results, documenting accurately in the electronic medical record, following infection prevention and patient safety protocols, and using clinical judgment to escalate concerns promptly. You will provide clear and compassionate education to patients and families about diagnoses, procedures,



and ongoing care needs, supporting them through complex and often emotionally challenging situations.
