Centre Director (Full-Time Permanent)

We are currently representing a well-established and highly regarded early learning centre in the Mackay region, committed to providing exceptional care and education for children while fostering a positive, supportive workplace for the team.

We are currently seeking a passionate Centre Director to lead our dedicated team in a full-time permanent position.

About the Role

- Provide solid leadership, guidance and support to a team of educators.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring high-quality education and care.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and all relevant legislative requirements.
- Drive continuous quality improvement and lead the centre through Assessment and Rating processes.
- Manage enrolments, occupancy, staffing and rostering to support the ongoing success of the service.
- Mentor, coach and develop educators,



supporting their professional growth and career progression.

About You

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director within an early childhood setting.
- Strong leadership, organisational and people management skills.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant legislation.
- A proven ability to build positive relationships with families, children and educators.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
