Cranfield Recruitment has partnered with a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design, servicing and production of industrial pumping equipment. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivatedCNC Operator / Workshop All-Rounder to join their friendly and supportive team based in Yatala.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical mindset who enjoys a hands-on role with plenty of variety. Full training will be provided for the right person.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role where you’ll primarily operate CNC turning machinery while also assisting across the workshop during quieter production periods.

Your duties will include:





- Set up and operate CNC turning machines (training provided)
- Load materials and tooling into machines
- Inspect finished components using measuring equipment
- Read and follow work orders and engineering drawings
- Maintain a clean, secure and organised work area
- Assist with hydraulic testing of pumps
- Support pump failure analysis activities
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders
- Assist with inventory, stock takes and goods receivable
- Paint, prepare and package pumps
- General workshop duties as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys hands-on work
- Is reliable, punctual and eager to learn
- Has good attention to detail
- Can work safely in a workshop environment
- Is physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Holds a forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
- Has experience using hand tools or measuring equipment such as calipers or micrometers (desirable)
