About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable MR Truck Driver to join our team in a transport and logistics company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start in a casual employment for the right candidate. You will be responsible for operating MR Trucks, operate Medium Rigid (MR) trucks to safely transport goods to customers and business locations, complete deliveries while adhering to scheduled delivery times, and load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate load restraint techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Medium Rigid (MR)

- Complete multi-drop deliveries while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
- Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate load restraint techniques.
- Conduct pre-start, post-trip, and daily vehicle safety inspections.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately with the correct documentation, delivery dockets, and proof of delivery (POD).
- Plan efficient delivery routes and use GPS/navigation systems to meet delivery schedules.

- Rate: $38 per hour rate
- Hours: 8 am to 4 pm + potential overtime
