Australian Vocational Academy is seeking a Customer Service Sales Advisor to join our team in Springwood, QLD. This is a full-time position that combines customer service excellence with sales expertise to drive business growth and student enrolment. You will be at the forefront of our organisation, representing our vocational training programs to prospective students and clients whilst building lasting relationships that support our mission to deliver quality education and training opportunities. This role is integral to our sales and student recruitment strategy, directly contributing to the College expansion and success.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and in-person, providing comprehensive information about vocational courses and training programmes
- Identify prospective students' needs and match them with suitable vocational training solutions
- Conduct needs assessments and consultations to understand educational and career goals
- Present course offerings, fees, payment options and enrolment procedures in a clear and compelling manner
- Process student enquiries and manage the initial stages of the enrolment pipeline
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, employers and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, enquiries and follow-ups in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure alignment on programme messaging and positioning
- Follow up with warm leads and convert enquiries into confirmed enrolments

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a customer service or sales advisory role, ideally within education, training or a similar sector
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences




- Strong customer service acumen and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to establish rapport quickly and build long-term relationships with customers
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine commitment to understanding and addressing client needs
- Proficiency with CRM systems and software applications
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups simultaneously
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming objections
- Professional presentation and the ability to represent the College with integrity and enthusiasm
- Willingness to learn about vocational training programmes and the education sector
- A flexible and collaborative approach to working within a team environment
