NBS Metal Roofing is looking for an experienced Leading Hand Metal Roofer to join our team.

This role suits a reliable roofer who takes pride in their work, can lead a small crew and is comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of roofing jobs.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate a small roofing crew
- Read plans, job scopes and installation details
- Organise daily tasks and keep jobs progressing
- Complete metal roofing, wall cladding, flashings, fascia and gutter work
- Check workmanship throughout each stage of the job
- Communicate material shortages or site issues early
- Maintain a clean, secure and organised worksite
- Ensure workers follow SWMS and company safety procedures
- Train and support apprentices and less-experienced roofers
- Report progress, defects and delays to the Field Operations Supervisor
- Assist with minor maintenance and rectification work when required

What we are looking for:





- Strong experience in metal roofing
- Previous Leading Hand or crew leadership experience
- High workmanship and presentation standards
- Ability to read plans and understand roofing details
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organised and able to work without constant supervision
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets are highly regarded
