About the role

The HR Specialist is responsible for driving key HR initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement.

What you'll be doing

Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and workplace issues.

Lead compliance with employment laws, Awards, Agreements and Company Policies.

Manage a high volume of employee relations cases.

Support managers in managing employee performance, conduct, and workplace issues, including coaching leaders through disciplinary processes, investigations, and resolution of employee concerns.

Assist with the preparation and review of standardised documentation relating to performance management, warnings, and employment changes

Coach and provide team leadership training for managers

Enable effective goal setting and performance conversations

Coach leaders on managing underperformance and recognising strong performance

Partner with SME’s (Talent, Training, People Services) to deliver the required outcomes for the business.

Provide business context and feedback to improve HR solutions.

Drive employee engagement through feedback mechanisms, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.





Support recruitment efforts by partnering with Talent and hiring managers.

What we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Specialist to step up in an autonomous role supporting your region within the group .

This position will deal with high volume employee relations matters and general day to day activities, so your ability to remain calm and manage competing priorities will be critical to your success.

3+ years' experience in a HR position

The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.

Strong relationship-building skills with managers, employees and candidates

Organised, proactive, with a solid attention to detail

Interest in developing broader HR and business partnering capability
