Redhill Hospitality Groupis seeking a skilled and dedicated a dedicated and experienced Motel Manager to lead our property in Armidale NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our motel and delivering outstanding guest satisfaction. As Motel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property's performance, from daily operations and staff management to financial control and guest relations. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and achieving our business objectives in the Armidale market.

What you'll be doing

- Oversee all daily motel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services to ensure smooth and efficient running of the property
- Manage and supervise staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management and team development to build a motivated and competent workforce
- Maintain financial accountability by managing budgets, controlling costs, maximising revenue and achieving financial targets set by head office
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, security and regulatory requirements, including duty of care obligations and legislative standards
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and experience, including handling complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor and maintain property standards, cleanliness, maintenance and safety protocols across all areas of the motel
- Manage inventory, procurement and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective operations and quality supplies




- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional strategies to drive occupancy rates and revenue growth
- Prepare reports on operational performance, occupancy rates and financial results for management review
- Liaise with Redhill Hospitality head office on strategic matters, performance metrics and any operational concerns

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Motel Manager or similar hospitality management role, ideally managing a property of comparable size and complexity
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to recruit, train, motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Solid financial acumen including budget management, revenue control, cost analysis and P&L; responsibility
- Excellent customer service orientation with demonstrated ability to resolve guest concerns and maintain high satisfaction levels
- Proficiency in hospitality management systems and property management software
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hospitality industry compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff and management
- Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills in a fast-paced workplace
- Flexibility and willingness to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- Relevant hospitality qualifications or certifications are desirable
