We're excited to welcome a Psychologist Senior to our Child Development Service.

Sunshine Coast Health is a values-based organisation. We are committed to the maintenance of a culture in which we treat our colleagues with respect as we do our patients, consumers and the community. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.

As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, deliver high level psychology clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital Health and Queensland Health (SCH).

Key Responsibilities include:

- Deliver independent high level psychology clinical practice in the field of developmental paediatrics with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.

This role is focussed on developmental assessment, rather than therapeutic intervention, and usually short-term involvement with clients.
- Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
- Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced psychology practitioners and students as delegated.

Remuneration value up to $3933 p.f. comprising salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary part time position, 45.6 hrs p.f. for 6 months, with possibility of extension). Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
