The Role

As a Casual Teacher, you'll deliver engaging gardening education programs that support children's learning and development through hands-on activities. You will help students develop practical knowledge, essential life skills and an appreciation for the natural world in a safe and inclusive environment.

You will also gain exposure to curriculum planning, resource preparation, student assessment and collaborative educational program delivery. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who enjoys interactive teaching, outdoor learning environments and creating meaningful experiences for young learners.

What You’ll Tackle Daily

In this rewarding role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering practical gardening education to children whilst supporting learning outcomes through engaging and interactive experiences. Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

- Deliver gardening education lessons on a casual basis as required.

- Teach practical gardening concepts through hands-on experiences and demonstrations.

- Prepare engaging educational resources aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.

- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

- Assess student participation and provide constructive feedback to support learning growth.





This role suits an adaptable educator who enjoys outdoor learning, practical teaching and developing meaningful educational experiences for children.

What You Bring to the Table:

We're looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and engaging educator who enjoys helping children learn through practical experiences and can foster positive learning environments. If this sounds like you, let's talk!

- Bachelor of Education, Certificate IV in Education Support or similar qualification.

- Current Working with Children Check.

- Current First Aid qualification.

- Demonstrated ability to motivate and guide students to achieve positive learning outcomes.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

- Robust understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
