Research Assistant:
Come and the dynamic Renal Trials team at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) as a Research Assistant, assisting the team to provide cutting-edge research, transforming kidney care. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to assist the trials team in a collaborative, patient-focused environment at one of Australia’s premier health institutions.

Remuneration:$41.53 - $42.47

Where you'll be working
Renal Department - Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards.

What you'll be doing
The Nephrology Research Assistant will work as member of the nephrology clinical trials team and participate in the collection and management of data for clinical trials. As a member of a Research Unit, the research assistant will, under supervision, have responsibility for the delivery of direct and indirect care (within professional scope) and associated data collection for concurrent research studies undertaken in the department, in accordance with the
Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Note for Guidance on Good Clinical Practice (CPMP/ICH/135/95) and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day to day operational matters.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work.

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods
