About the role
As a Kit Assembler, you will play an integral role in the assembly of medical kits that are vital for surgical procedures. This position demands precision and attention to detail, ensuring that all components meet the required standards for quality and safety. You will work collaboratively within a team, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the assembly process.
The position is based in Arndell Park and is working full-time Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, paying $33.05 per hour + super.
Key responsibilities
Working within the inbound team, this role focuses on processing surgical kits into the warehouse, receiving returned kits from hospitals, cleaning and replenishing them to ensure they are ready for future bookings. After cleaning,
staff coordinate and assemble kits using specific coordination print sheets to ensure they are correctly prepared for upcoming bookings across hospitals in Australia and New Zealand.
You would be required to:
- Assemble medical kits according to established protocols and specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and assembled kits
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, preferably within the medical or related industry
- Strong capability in following detailed instructions and adhering to safety regulations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
