About the Opportunity

As our new Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the growth and success of our Asset Services division.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for Electrical projects and maintenance contracts
- Getting out on site to liaise with clients on new projects, upgrades and maintenance
- Coordinating and organising complex tender submissions
- Identifying and managing risks and opportunities throughout the estimating and submission process
- Interpreting mechanical plans and specifications and performing detailed take-offs
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure competitive pricing
- Actively seeking and pursuing growth opportunities by developing strong relationships with customers and industry partners

About You

- Experience in Electrical Projects (maintenance, construction, or building services)
- Strong knowledge of AS3000 / 3008
- Solid knowledge of Electrical systems, materials, and installation practices
- Proven ability to prepare quotations for projects of all sizes and collaborate across multiple service lines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software (or excellent general computer skills)
- Exceptional time management and organisational abilities to manage competing tenders and deadlines
