Designed Electrical Services Account Manager and Business Developer

Our well established, national award-winning electrical client is currently looking to fill a unique opportunity. The role requires a candidate with an electrical trades background coupled with quoting and estimating experience of LV electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades, to take on a busy and interesting role combining account management and recent business development, that will utilise your stakeholder engagement / negotiation capabilities.

Reporting to the Division Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Liaise and negotiate with existing and new clients (commercial, construction, education, health, industrial and, infrastructure) for the provision of minor LV (and potentially occasionally HV) electrical repairs, installations, upgrades, as well as other electrical services
- Identify and follow up on potential additional new business opportunities from existing maintenance and services contracts
- Quote and estimate for the installation work identified
- Be the key point of contact for clients

Essential skills / Experience required:

- Previous experience of electrical sales, electrical estimating and quoting within a construction or engineering environment
- Previous electrical installations experience




- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in fast paced and KPI driven environment
- Well-developed analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience in relationship building and maintaining relationships with key contacts
- Well-developed computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on “doing it right the first time”
- Ability to manage your own time and workloads and able to work towards agreed KPI’s
- Current driver’s license and own transport
